Ekaterina Zhupanova's tennis journey began in 1988. Over a decade of rigorous training at the Youth Russian Tennis School of Olympic Reserve set the stage for her enduring passion for the sport. Having actively participated in competitions across Russia and Europe, Ekaterina found her love for playing and coaching tennis.
In 2004, Ekaterina transitioned into coaching at the Russian Tennis School of Olympic Reserve. It became evident that coaching was a job and her true calling.
In 2013, Ekaterina embarked on a new chapter in Canada, joining Tennis Manitoba as a tennis coach/instructor. She was certified as a Canadian Tennis Instructor in 2015 and a Canadian Tennis Coach three years later.
Currently, Ekaterina leads Community Center Tennis Programs for adults and children, facilitates after-school programs, and provides personalized coaching across various age groups. For Ekaterina, tennis is more than a game; it's a lifelong passion she is committed to sharing with players of all ages.
